Hey, I’m Micah, and I’ve been an avid Tofugu reader for over six months now. I’ve also somewhat followed Textfugu’s progress since it was first announced, but I never had enough money to buy a membership. Now I finally have a job and a little extra cash on the side so I finally got the Textfugu membership. I’m really happy to start learning Japanese here. After reading the free chapters, I knew this would the perfect way for me to learn Japanese.

My desire for learning Japanese largely stems from my love of Anime, Manga, and Video Games. I would love to visit Japan again in the future and perhaps live there. (I’ve actually been to Japan once before, but it was only for a day and I was only in the airport the whole day) My biggest desire is to be able to play video games in Japan before they’re released to the rest of the world.

P.S. That’s me and my niece in my avatar. ^_^

Hey there Micah! Awesome that you finally got the funds up to buy the membership, I’m pretty adamant you won’t be disappointed. Having traveled to Japan for 3 weeks before I can say that it’s certainly a must on anyone’s travel list. Good luck on your path to Learning Japanese, stick with it and I’m sure before you know it you will be playing those Japanese Video Games.
