Hahahaha… Not exactly “lost” but just thought that it had a nice ring to it as a title…

Anyway, my name is Jules and I’ve just registered on TextFugu to bolster my Japanese learning – I’ve been “learning” for the past year or so now but never really making any progress (mainly because I’m lazy and unmotivated…). I decided to take a chance and buy the subscription to TF while it was still on sale.

I’m hoping that this textbook will help me better than the one I already have. One of the reasons I started learning Japanese was because I was a Linguistics student in University and was a student of the English language. Languages fascinate me and Japanese is one of them. I also want to be able to be a translator of English-Japanese someday.

Long story short, hi. I’m new here. :)
