Hello, everyone. I’m a freshman in college studying biochemistry/pre-medicine (because apparently I was stupid and decided sleep doesn’t need to happen). I’ve wanted to study Japanese for several years now, but I’ve always made excuses and not gotten seriously into it in the past. In any case, I’ve decided I should stop procrastinating and making up reasons as to why I “can’t” study Japanese, so, here I am. As I’m an absolute beginner, I’m sure I’ll be asking lots of questions in the future, so I hope you’ll all put up with me. In any case, it’s nice to meet you all, and I hope you’re all having a wonderful January.

Welcome! I’m in college as well, senior Information Technology major. I’m a programmer by trade so I totally get you on the lack of sleep thing. Haha
TextFugu has been an absolutely fantastic resource thus far. I’ve tried many and I’ve got to say, you certainly chose a fantastic resource to get serious with. Definitely feel free to update with progress/frustrations/questions! (I can try to help, though, I’m not very advanced myself… yet!)
