Hello, my names is Daniel and I live in Arizona. I am learning Japanese because of a recent change in my future plan after high school. Last week, I attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, RYLA, and learned about being able to do a foreign exchange with Rotary. I have become really intrigued with this idea. The only thing is I must know at least a year of the language of the country I wish to attend. I already know Spanish but would love to go somewhere with a new language. So, I chose Japan. I am learning Japanese not only to achieve of one year of the Japanese language needed for attending the foreign exchange but also so that I may be able to test into my high school’s Japanese 3-4 class in August. This way I would have two years of Japanese. Hopefully I am able to reach my goal of learning all of Textfugu’s 8 seasons in 7 months, before the start of my senior year.
