    Hi everyone,

My name is Arthur, I come from France, and I now live in Bangkok where I work as a 2D artist for a video game and illustration company. We visited Japan a few months ago, and I fell in love with the country. The sushi, the crisp air, the polite people, everything is awesome, everything is beautiful. Now all I think about is learning the language and making myself ready for some major career relocation.

I studied in China for a few years before coming to Thailand, so what I can recall of the written form should come in handy, keeping in mind that Japanese is a unique enterprise in itself.

In this respect, I got myself a neat Textfugu package for Christmas. All I need now is to get started and not lose focus.

Thank you for reading this, and much sympathy for your own effort!

    Hey guys,

It’s been 5 years since this pathetic introduction, and I’m now living in Japan, where my partner and I started our own digital arts studio.

I’ve been living in Japan for a year and a half, and first thing I do every morning is get my dose of Textfugu. Can’t stop won’t stop!!

ガンバ to all of you doing what you know you need to do, to be where you want to be.

Welcome! Congrats that you’re living and working in Japan now. =) I’d kinda like to live in Japan sometime, but I also don’t want to not be at home also…

    Where in particular?

    Cheers Joel!

I live in Kashiwa, a smaller town on the northern side of Tokyo. I saw in your introduction that you came to Japan yourself in 2011, have you had the opportunity to come back again since then?

    2010, not 2011. =)

But yeah, I actually managed to visit again just last December, finally. Already planning my next trip for April.
