Hi, everyone!
My name is Ian, and I’ve been living in and around the Boston metro-area for the last few years.
I’ve had an interest in Japanese culture ever since my first exposure to anime on Toonami (the good-ole-days before the relaunch). Recently, I stumbled across Tofugu, and I was really blown away with the inviting, humorous, and positive community that’s built itself around the site and its offshoots over the last few years. I want to learn Japanese for a few reasons, in no particular order:
-To challenge myself with something new
-To grow and develop my interest in Japanese culture
-To be able to visit Japan some day with confident language skillsI’m looking forward to the long journey ahead!
PS: I loved the registration message from Koichi…just awesome!
