Hello TextFugu community!

My name is JS and wanted to say a big HELLO!

I am 27 years old and live in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.  Currently in the process to become an RCMP Officer.  I’ve never really seriously thought about learning Japanese until recently since I didn’t think I wanted to learn a third language.

Recently though, I’ve acquired a Japanese 3DS and thought it would be fun to try to use it.  Having fiddled around with it, I’ve found that I really do need to know Japanese.  Googled what the best way to learn Japanese was.  At first Rosetta Stone came to mind from all of the commercials I’ve been bombarded with.   Reading Tofugu’s Best 100 Resources really helped me pick one and just go with it.

Having just finished Season 1, I have to say that I am extremely happy to have picked this resource!  The reason for that is because all of the lessons and concepts just seem to “click” with me.  Everything that Koichi has written and explained was just so easy to utilized!

Very excited to start Season 2 and learn some more grammar and Kanji radicals!
