Hello everyone, my name is Anna.I’m currently in my second year of university( studying archeology and History) and have decided that now is the perfect time to commit to learning Japanese- why now you ask? While I’m not 100% on why I chose this precise moment to start in on such a complex and painstaking endeavor I am determined to do well. Truth be told I’ve been considering – and at the same time putting off- learning Japanese for a long time.In fact I have had an intense fascination with Japan and it’s culture since about grade 5 and it has followed me ever since. Why I want to learn Japanese besides my intense interest in the people that speak the language and their culture? well, I love challenging myself also, I’d like to test my perseverance and self discipline. I also feel that learning Japanese can open lots of new opportunities for me for instance giving me the ability to enjoy some of Japan’s literary texts (not manga even though manga is pretty great too). Well that’s all for now! I look forward to getting to know some of you as we journey together to learn Japanese :)

    Bye
    Anna
