I just signed up for textfugu.
I’m travelling to Japan later on this year (already bought my ticket), so I thought it might help to learn some Japanese before I go.
That’s not to say that I’m learning these reasons.
I love manga and I read a lot faster than people translate on scanlation sites and buying the english version costs a lot here (taxes in Ontario is crazy). So I believe it’s a better investment to learn the language, and gain a new skill and spend less on manga.
