Hey everyone,

I’m a senior in high school and I have always had a huge interest in Japan for what ever reason and always wanted to go there but consistently put off learning the language because of one excuse or another, not enough time with school, would never use it etc. Well a few weeks ago (beginning of October) a huge donor at my school decided she would give me a scholarship to go to a language school and then university in Japan. The only stipulations were that I had to be fluent in Japanese and have a bachelors degree within 5 years of setting foot on foreign soil and I had to get accepted. Long story short I’ve been I’m going to Japan in around 8 months to go to language school to prep for uni. My long term goal is to work in business as a liaison between eastern and western countries.

Currently I’m a student at an arts school with a focus in sculpture and design. I hope with this program I can reach my goals.  So hello and lez go!
