    Góðann daginn, Hello, こんいちわ

    わたしはÓskar(オスカー)です。ミュージックが大すきです。しごとはドラマーです。

Ok, siiigh. that was hard (guess I need to practice some writing) That was about all I can say about myself in Japanese.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I’m from Iceland and am really new to Japanese. Really love textfugu, I used to learn danish and spanish in school but that went horribly, maybe because the school system didn’t really work for me. But textfugu is really making learning a pleasure, nice job textfugu :)

One thing I noticed is that it’s kind of nice to be from Iceland and learning the pronunciation in Japanese because it tends to be kind of similar. If I read the romanji with a pure icelandic accent it tends to be really similar.

Anyway, thank you textfugu and こういちさん for a great site.

Welcome! You work… as a drummer?

Also, small pointer: be careful when ん comes near あ- or な- or や-line characters when using an IME. It’s こんにちは. =D

    Welcome to TextFugu!

I was pretty terrible at Spanish and French as well. That said I don’t think I’m very good at Japanese either, but at least I’m putting in more effort! :P

Check out this thread for some tips on organizing Anki 2 with the early chapters of TextFugu:

You can also use the following thread to track your progress and share your ideas/concerns when you finish a season (gain a level ^_^):

    がんばって!

Thanks so much for the tips everyone. ありがとうございます。

And yea I work as a drummer these days (although it doesn’t really pay much)

(lol, I just noticed that I made a spelling error in the Icelandic greeting. Góðann daginn was supposed to be Góðan daginn :) )
