Hello everyone! This is my first time studying Japanese, and I decided to go all in with TextFugu. I’m just about to start Season 2, and I’m very interested in seeing how this goes. I’ve heard the horror stories of learning kanji, but the way TextFugu explains it seems like it won’t be that bad. Probably.

I’m pretty surprised there’s still a good amount of people learning using TextFugu still – I thought no one used it. I hadn’t heard of it ever, and no one ever really says their learning Japanese, so to see a lot of recent posts is pretty cool and somewhat encouraging. Here in Idaho, there’s not too many people interested in things Japanese or Japanese culture. Seeing the other recent post from all over the world is a reminder that it’s not weird to learn such a foreign language.

I’m excited to see what this text book has in store!
