Hello!

My name is Kali. I have always wanted to learn Japanese since high school, I am going to be a senior in college this fall. I studied abroad at Japan for a week and half during my winter break recently. I made several friends from Japan and would like to stay in contact with them. I don’t want have them keep chatting with me in English. I think that seems unfair in some way, I should learn Japanese. It is time for me to learn a new language now!

By the way, since I am deaf and use American Sign Language and written English to communicate…I know some Japanese Sign Language! I believe that learning Japanese would help me to learn and remember more Japanese Sign Language well.

I hope that TextFugu community would keep me motivated to learn Japanese! I really need a plenty of motivation, really.

I am looking forward to making a great progress in learning Japanese!
