Mina-san, konnichiwa!
My name is John. I am a beginner when it comes to Japanese. I’ve been studying on my own for a little more than a year now using various programs.
Why am I learning or want to learn Japanese? The main reason is my wife is Japanese and I want to be able to speak with her in her native language more. Her family is all in Japan. I’ve been there a couple times and would love to be able to speak to them more in Japanese when we visit them. I also work for a Japanese company here in the US and have a few Japanese colleagues and friends, so it would be helpful in that regard, too.
After going through Season 1, I was really impressed with how quickly I picked up Hiragana. So I decided to pull the trigger and go for the lifetime membership.
