I started learning Japanese about a month ago now with Tofugu’s Hiragana and Katakana guides and then moved onto using Wanikani for Kanji learning. I decided I needed to start learning grammar so I could put some of what I’m learning into practice so here I am!

I’m learning for hobbyist and professional reasons. I’m a fan of japanese media, whether it be general television media or more on the otaku side of things with anime and visual novels. In a hobbyist sense, I’d like to be able to consume this media without the use of translations. In a professional sense, I’d like to be able to take part in translation projects of different media, but mainly focusing on video games since such development is my current career.
