Hey all, I live in little Rhode Island. Finished college last year and going to be starting a teaching job soon (finally got a job!), and in the meantime I thought I’d actually make an effort at learning Japanese. I got into the subject through manga and anime but have taken much more of an interest in the country and culture through that. Definitely want to visit for some time someday, thoughts of even living there maybe for a while.
Either way, after failing at learning foreign languages in the past, I’m all in this time!
You could maybe at some point go to Japan to teach English through programs like JET. A lot of people seem to do that, but if you’re a qualified teacher, you’d probably have a much easier time applying :D
