My name is Geoffrey and I’m a long time procrastinator in learning Japanese. I’ve studied a bit before, have taken classes and have promised myself that I’ll keep invested. I *want* to keep invested. Badly.

My longtime girlfriend is part Japanese, and her mom is from Tokyo. I’ve stayed in Japan, and have met her extended family. I very much want to learn Japanese to become closer to my girlfriend, her mom, and her family. And I can’t lie, I really love *being* in Japan. I also want to posses the ability to move about freely, take public transportation, travel and order food without that OMG SRSLY face you get from even the friendliest of faces when a westerner has very little language comprehension or speaking ability :) I’m very excited to be here.
