Hello everybody!

I’ve been thinking of learning Japanese for ages but never got around to it (I’ve begun a few times before but never really got anywhere). I’ve been really into origami since I was a child and have always wanted to be able to read the texts and not just looking at the pictures.

So I might be a bit different in that I actually want to learn how to read Japanese more than talking. :)

When I heard my aunt’s moving to Nagoya for 8 month and I’m thinking of going to see her for a few weeks, I thought it was as good a time as any to start learning Japanese. Might help a bit since I don’t want to feel completely lost while I’m there.

I’ve already done Lesson 1 here on TextFugu and I’ve got further in the past two weeks than I’ve ever done. So, Lesson 2-8 – here I come! (Wish me luck)
