Been trying to learn Japanese for years now, though I’ve procrastinated quite a bit as well. But this past year I’ve been putting much more effort into it and it’s been paying off even though I am still such a noob. I hope to eventually learn a 3rd language after I get much better at Japanese, I also have come to like the linguistics aspect and hope to learn more about how language theory works in general thanks to my attempt to learn Japanese.

I work at an internet help desk and getting burned out, so this has been a nice change in pace and hoping it will eventually get me something outside of helping mean people with computers lol. I’ve never really been passionate about anything before either, and until this past year I feared I might never find that something I really enjoyed.
