Hello, everyone. I’m Vinícius, and I hail from the distant, mystical forests of Brazil.
…actually, I live in the biggest city in the country and never really saw a forest. I do hear we have a lot of those over here. Somewhere.
Anyways, I’ve just started learning Japanese. In fact, I completed the hiragana lessons just a few hours ago, and gotta admit I – really – liked the way TextFugu taught it. Decided to tag along and see the rest of the ride, I just hope I won’t fall midway. Guess we’ll have to find out.
As for myself……meh. Nothing really interesting to say about me, to be honest. I’m just your regular, shy nerd guy who likes video games, anime / manga, music and reading in general. I’m 22 y/old, work as web developer and am (almost) finishing college.I guess that’s just it.
I decided to learn japanese because of a deadly combination of boredom, interest in the language, wanting to read japanese stuff, hoping to some day get into the video game industry and meeting a japanese guy on FFXIV. Ended up strumbling upon TextFugu, and after reading it a bit I started considering the possibility of it…well, actually being possible.
Oh, and I’m sorry for any spelling errors or whatever.
Hello and welcome, congratulations on finishing Season 1! I, like you, started learning Japanese partly out of boredom and it will deffinitely soak up a lot of your time if you let it. Just be sure you don’t become bored of the thing that’s supposed to alleviate your boredom, know what I mean? Best of luck with your studies.
