    Hey there!
So glad to finally be here!
I am an archaeology student from Copenhagen University. I studied Japanese for a year at Copenhagen Uni until I gave up. I never really wanted to give up on the language, but the teaching methods didn’t really do much for me, other than get me stressed and semi-depressed.
I’ve now studied Archaeology for a year, and I’m in a good place with myself – so I figured now is the time to learn Japanese; this time learn it properly as well. One of my other main reasons to learn Japanese is that my friend from Japanese is going on an exchange for 12 months, and I want to go and visit her. So a lot of my motivation stems from wanting to be able to communicate with people when I’m in Japan, and get the most out of the country as possible.

I hope to meet some of you on TeamSpeak soon, but for now I think I will go battle season 2! Here’s to a new start on Kanji! lol

Hi Happpiii. Are you a Dane since you study at KU? I’m a Dane.
Yea classes can sometimes be very… what should I call it.. evil?.. Yea they can be evil. If teacher doesn’t teach at exactly the same tempo as you learn, you’ll learn very slowly… I think.
Perhaps this article is something for you. http://www.tofugu.com/2013/03/08/how-to-handle-the-transition-from-classroom-to-self-learning/
