Hi everyone,

I’m Dylan and I am simply a 16 year old guy from the Netherlands who has decided to learn some Japanese during summer break. I currently have decent understanding of Dutch, English (both fluent), German, French, Latin and ancient Greek, and I always seek to expand that list (I still want to learn Spanish and Swedish as well).

My reason for being here is simply because I was fascinated by the idea of a language so different from all those other languages named above (those are all Indo-European languages, meaning they share a lot of similarities). I’ve also watched quite a large amount of anime over the last few months, so that obviously sparked my interest as well.

So, after being recommended this by a hiragana course I took two days ago (yes, I learned most of hiragana in a few hours. I’m fairly proud of that), I made the decision to buy the lifetime thing in the summer sale, which will hopefully turn out to be a good decision.
