This is my introduction post for TextFugu.
I am incredibly excited to be able to finally start learning Japanese. A friend of mine, Charlie, has gone to Japan twice, and has always encouraged me to learn the language with her, but I never thought I had the time or that it was too hard. I know that it will be a hard journey, but I am finally ready to take it!
I am learning Japanese becuase I have always been fascinated with the language, and really what got me into the language was anime and manga. I want to be able to read manga and watch the anime without subtitles, and also be able to talk with my friend Charlie. :)
