Hi everybody,
my name is Teresa. Tere for friends. I’m an half Italian/half German videogames translator. Since English is not my first language, forgive my mistakes ^^’I’ve been “trying” to study Japanese for years, but it never worked… But the desire to finally learn it lead me to Texfugu.
I’ve some Japanese tandem Partners and I’m looking forward to be able to communicate with them, not only in MY language.
I’ve been to Japan only once but I’m going to be there in two weeks again. Even being able to order a ramen makes me feel very happy, so my aim is to be able to talk more and more. So, that’s it! Every day I take a little time, with my dog on my lap, to focus on Japanese. It’s really fun here.
Thanks, Koichi (and all the others!) for the laughs!
April 29, 2014 at 12:45 pm #45027Welcome! Translating into what languages? =)
I’ve also been to Japan only once. Want to go back so much. Where have you been? Where are you going this time? Take any photos? =D
April 29, 2014 at 12:59 pm #45028Hi there! I translate from German and English into Italian.
I’ve only been to Tokyo so far, and next time it will be Tokyo again. I’ve only spent ten days there, and there’s still so much to see! I plan on going every year, so I’ll start visiting more cities in the future!
Pictures of my trip are only on my FB page. Feel free to add me (Tere Ennas) but make sure you introduce yourself as a Textfugu member!
April 29, 2014 at 1:11 pm #45029My name’s Joel and and I have a picture of a cat as my profile – you can’t really miss me. =P (Mind you, it’s a different cat than the one I have here, I’ll grant, but still…)
April 29, 2014 at 9:24 pm #45033Welcome to TextFugu!
That’s so cool that you’ll get to go to Japan every year. I don’t have the cash flow for it unfortunately. >_<

April 30, 2014 at 8:38 am #45040Hi Tere!
[Wait. Can I call her Tere? Only friends call her Tere. Am I her friend? What if we're destined to be bitter enemies?? Gah!]
Hi Teresa!
I am half Italian/half everywhere else in Europe, but I live in America and am hopelessly monolingual.
Anyway, はじめまして and よろしくおねがいします and I look forward to seeing you around the forum!
Your indeterminate associate,
EihikoP.S. I like your ears
Not from the desk of Eihiko. Eihiko's boss took his desk away from him.May 1, 2014 at 9:56 am #45053よろしく and ありがとう, Eihiko!
I have loads of archenemies, I’m definitely not looking for new ones here! :DMay 2, 2014 at 3:30 am #45066What about an arch-nemesis? It’s almost the same word, but soo much cooler. ^_^
May 2, 2014 at 4:23 am #45068It is pretty cool indeed!
Ah, Aikibujin: I used the ANKI 2 guide you linked and it was very helpful, thanks!
The only negative thing about that, is that people who are testing the First Season for free and are not members yet don’t know about it.
I had a hard time trying to understand what I was meant to do on ANKI ^^’May 2, 2014 at 9:50 pm #45078I know. Unfortunately there’s nothing I can do about that. I try to post it to all users as soon as they make their existences known. I even offered to be a temporary mod on the forum so I could sticky stuff like that, but Koichi doesn’t want to do anything for the forums it seems until the new version of TF is released, at which point it shouldn’t be needed anyway…
