For the last 2 months I’ve been using RTK to learn Kanji, I’ve got to 800 kanji now.

At lesson 20, the stories disappeared and as a result the difficulty rocketed (I find creating stories myself very difficult). Whilst before I’d get through 30 a day, once I even got through 100, now I can barely do 10 and keep forgetting the new ones. It feels like a waste of time, it’s very disheartening. If I were at the previous rate I could be approaching the end of the book by now.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m very grateful if anyone has any advice.

Sign up and use their system,. Users submit new stories and they get voted on for the best/most memorable. I used this from the point where heisig stopped giving stories and still maintained 80/100 a day
