Hello everyone.
This is an introduction, but I’ve actually been here for a while. Lurking, studying in solitude, doing my thing; you know how it is. Suddenly, I got this odd desire to socialize, but I figured it would be strange to just pop into random threads without a proper introduction.

So, hello. I’m Louis. I come from Denmark. I can speak Danish (imagine that!). I also speak English and I can read and understand a fair amount of German. And now I’m studying Japanese, too. Why? Well, one language was my native language. Another, my teachers told me I had to study, and then there was the language I encountered when I got my first PlayStation. Finally, there is the language I wanted to study in order that I could make cute animal sounds. Fill in the blanks.

Did you know that Klingon is an actual language? Not that I intend to learn it. Anytime. Soon.

I’ve been studying for half a year, give and take. But you should probably take. I’m currently on season 5 where I most recently finished the casual verbs. I’m coasting along in my own slow-but-comfortable tempo. It’s all good.

About me:
I like short sentences. I don’t like writing introductions. I like cheesy 80′s music, especially when it contains a sine wave solo, and I drink tea by the bucketload. I can be serious, but I prefer sarcastic and slightly cynical (read: annoying).

I’ve corrected 14 times the entries I’ve written on Lang-8.
