    Hey everyone,

    Just signed up, though I worked my way through season 1 first. I’ve been interested in Japan since I was little, but for some reason kept putting off learning the language. Around this time last year, I decided to take the plunge and bought the whole Levels 1-3 of Rosetta stone. Needless to say, I had some issues learning via that method and eventually found myself here.

    The goal is to get to Japan , being able to converse freely and find my way around when I get there. Nice to meet you all.

    Hello Dom and welcome. Hope you’ll have fun learning. :)

    It’s not a big surprise Rosetta Stone didn’t help you a lot. A former RS employee made an AMAA (ask me almost anything) on reddit a while ago. The short version is that it’s built around learning Spanish and that doesn’t transition well to Japanese. If you (or anyone else) should be interested in the whole story it’s right here.
