So, my name is Kristina and I’ve been self-teaching myself Japanese for about a few years now, but nothing too seriously. However, I’m a freshman at DePaul University this year and I’m actually planning on double-majoring in Anthropology and Japanese Studies so now I’m getting pretty serious about learning the language and culture. Eventually my plan is travel abroad and teach English in Japan!
Yeah….So, I don’t know what else to say. But it’s a pleasure meeting you all, and I look forward to the course. :)

I’m not sure if I can really “welcome” you as you most likely joined about half an hour before me :P.
All I can say is this is a great community! It’s great to have people like you with some real goals to learn Japanese. Hopefully I can become more focused like you, hehe.
