Hey everybody,

My name is Sara and I’m from Canada. I am currently studying at Queen’s University to become a composer and sound designer for video games and other media (video games is my main area of focus).

It is my dream to work for some of the big video game companies in Japan, I know these have come to North America, but I want to work in Japan with some of the best game composers of all time, like Nobuo Uematsu and Koji Kondo.

So in order to ever have a chance of working in Japan, I thought it would be in my best interest to learn Japanese fluently AND learn everything I possibly can about the culture, so i don’t annoy anybody or make an idiot of myself when I get there.

TextFugu is going to be a great starting point for me with learning Japanese, I also intend to take some University courses to help with the process.
