Hello TextFugu! :)

My name’s Marc. Almost a year ago now, I started to get interested in Japanese when I started watching anime (of course!). When I my natural tendency to do extensive internet research on my interests kicked in, I found myself absolutely fascinated with the Japanese culture, especially the language, and the music (me being a huge music fan/musician). I just thought, “Man, I need to learn this language!” I still watch anime, listen to Japanese music, play Japanese games like Pokemon, and feed my fascination for the culture and language every day, and I’m really excited to start truly learning!

Yeah, my reasons might sound a tad cliché, but I don’t mind. :P
