Hi guys.
New subscriber here. I’m a web developer based in London.
i’ve been learning japanese on an off for a few months now. I keep getting quite far and then miss a few days anki reviews and forget it all so I’m trying to be good again! thankfully I haven’t gone too far into the grammar – thats what textfugu is for! I always fall down on vocab so thats what I’m working on with my learning.
My reasons for learning Japanese are mainly to be able to watch anime and read manga on the train. Some anime have weird sentences that I don’t like people reading on my screen on my commute to work! :P
I would also love to be able to play japanese rpgs.
When I get really good I plan to work on incorporating japanese into my work by translating software and gaming magazines for news and reviews of games not available in the UK.
Thats the plan anyway!
