Hello, my name is Brad, and I have a vested interest in teaching myself Japanese :) I’m actually not completely new to this sort of process. I made the decision to learn the language a couple years ago, when my friend offered me a chance to try out Rosetta Stone Japanese. Almost a year later, I have made it through all three discs, and although I have learned quite a bit, I feel somewhat unsatisfied with the limited scope the program offered.

I’ve been looking around ever since for other outlets for my learning. TextFugu has interested me enough to pay for my first month, and I am quite happy with the experience so far. Being an incoming college sophomore studying engineering, these study tools recommended by Koichi will definitely bleed over into my other learning efforts, so already this textbook has benefited me greatly. I am excited to approach Japanese the TextFugu way :D
