Hi!

I just went to Japan last month, and am still in touch with a friend I made there so I want to continue studying Japanese so I can communicate with her more efficiently. That and I had such a great time and the people were so nice it inspired me to study more. Right now my friend and I are using a mix of English and Japanglish. lol I hope to go back around 2014. We’ll see :)

Thanks to hiragana42 I learned to read hiragana before my trip. I honestly think I was able to learn it as quickly as I did because of the way the book was written so when I saw the 50% off sale for TextFugu I jumped on it!

Anyway nice to be here, I look forward to learning with you all!
