My name is Chelsea and I am currently living in Japan for my tech job. I’m learning Japanese because I want to open doors to a job I’ll actually want to do, rather than one based upon my current work experience. I’ve always been interested in languages and realized I was trying to puzzle out the inflection and tone of spoken Japanese as soon as I heard it.

I’ve picked up a couple dictionaries, a number of apps, already own a ton of anime, have been listening to a podcast or two when I can, and like to ride around on my bike and visit little local places like grocery stores.
