Hi there,
I’m new to TextFugu. I’m trying to learn Japanese for a few years now but going nowhere. I do understand simple sentences, but that’s it.I’m learning Japanese because I hate reading and watching translations when it comes to books and movies.
I’m a german Fantasy writer and editor and working freelance, so I don’t have much time. I hope TextFugu will keep me motivated enough to learn Japanese in spite of having to work weekends and stuff.

budonoseito: I’ve heard learning German as a foreign langugage is very difficult, because you have to remember the gender of every noun. But I wish you luck. I would offer my help, if you want to.
Armando: I hope so, too. I already like that there are thing like “Grammar with Yoda” here. That sounds like fun :-)
