Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say hi and I look forward to learning here and getting to know the community. I initially began learning Japanese to pursue a major and teach English in Japan but life plans changed and i wound up working on an ambulance pursuing an EMS career. I took a Japanese class at my college as well so I have the basics down. The main thing though for me is I need to greatly improve my vocabulary. I am a huge fan of Utada Hikaru and others and have always wanted to be able to understand the music and not just read translation as I know just how bad translation can be. Anyhow, it’s more for pleasure now but I do intend on going to Japan and would love to know a great deal of the language to truly enjoy myself. Hope to meet you all soon and look forward to the chats we may have.
