My name is Marco,I am a 23 years old italian guy that is trying to learn Japanese (that was obvious :D )
My English still need a lot of work,but it’s enough for now to allow me to “explore” other directions (lenguages) & to be part of the TextFugu community :)My answer to the question “Why I am studying Japanese” was:
I want to learn Japanese in order to be ble to play games in the original lenguage & games released only in Japan,Also I can lok at Anime without have to worry about subtitles (I can focus my eyes on the action) . Also,is fun xD
This is my answer,let’s see if is a strong enough motivation to keep me up from the beggining until the end :)

It looks like we have the same reasons for learning Japanese. I agree, it’s hard to focus on the show when your eyes are always at the bottom of the screen.
Anyways, I wish you luck and perseverance in learing Japanese. =)

Hi Marco, welcome to the forum! I too get frustrated having to read subtitles while trying to watch something. ;) It’s a good reason to learn!
