Hello everyone,

I just started on this site today and I am truly amazed at how all of the people here are positive and helpful. It is so cool to see a community that is all helping each other to do the same thing (learn Japanese). Now, I guess I should list my reasons for learning Japanese:

I want to live in Japan for a while and experience living in a different country other than the U.S.
I am fascinated by their culture and want to experience it for myself.
I want to be able to read things such as mangas or cards.
I really am just fascinated by the language.

There are my reasons for learning Japanese. Though they may not be all that impressive they will hopefully motivate me to keep on learning. I am ready to get started and am looking forward to the adventure that is ahead of me.
