Hey everyone! I finally fully registered for this site after completing Season 1, and I’m very excited to keep learning!

A little about myself. My name is Stephanie Brown, and I’m an artist for a company that designs slot machine games. But that’s just my day job. During my free time, I write screenplays and illustrate them, make Youtube videos (channel name is OffbeatWorlds if anyone is interested), take pole dance classes, and hang out with my dog. And now I’m also learning Japanese!

I started learning Japanese for a few reasons. I got into Asian cinema earlier this year, and it’d be fun to actually know what the characters are saying rather than just reading subtitles. A couple of my former roommates are getting married next year and are planning on spending their honeymoon in Japan with some friends, so it’d be nice to be able to interact with people while over there. And finally, I am writing a science fiction samurai screenplay that features three Japanese brothers (it’s called Spark of Honor), and if I want to actually want to make the movie someday, I should know how to speak Japanese! Right?? :D
