Hi everyone! I’m Razorcheeze but you could also call me Oliver since that’s my actual name. I was told to go to these forums and introduce myself. I just started the paid version of TextFugu so right now I’m beginning Season 2. I don’t know if this is important, but I’m currently a freshman in high school and I’m 14 years old. I wanted to learn Japanese mainly because of watching anime (it sounds kind of nerdy I know). I had just finished watching Attack on Titan last year and I thought about how cool Japanese sounds so I decided that this year in 2014 my resolution would be to start learning Japanese. Another very minor reason that I want to learn Japanese is because I’m subscribed to a guy on YouTube called EpicNameBro who specializes in making Dark Souls (a videogame) videos and other Japanese games. In his videos he sometimes talks about how he lives in Japan and I always thought how cool it would be to live in or take a (really long) trip to Japan. So yeah I guess this pretty much sums everything up! Thanks! (I hope I wrote this post correctly, sorry D:)

Welcome to TextFugu and Happy New Year!

You’d be surprised how many people list anime as the reason they want to learn Japanese, or at least as one of their reasons. So you’re not alone!
