    皆さん、御早う! 名前はマシュー・ネレンでございます

I received TextFugu as a birthday gift in December and look forward to using it like crazy. Hopefully, I will be able to go to 三島市、静岡 for studying abroad in 2015~!

My experience with languages other than Japanese includes native English, five and a half years of Spanish, and one year of American Sign Language.

Mishima? Wasn’t there someone else on this forum who was going to Mishima as well? Can’t seem to find it now, though…

What are you intending to do there? =)

A friend at school would also like to go with me, but I know they aren’t on TextFugu. Hmm…

There is an international relations school there, and I’d also like to hike 富士山! My major is computer science but that very well could change.

Ooo. I hiked up Mount Fuji, but only managed to get to about 3000 metres altitude…

Was there a particular reason you stopped at that height?

I was struggling to breathe a bit, so we decided to stop at the seventh station for the night. Unfortunately, during the night my friend got sick – still not really sure why. In hindsight, I probably would have been fine with a short break and a hot meal, but I’m not sure if that would have resulted in my friend getting sick somewhere on the mountainside instead of in a hut, or if he wouldn’t have gotten sick at all.

Woke up for the sunrise, then headed back down again. Bah.

Ah was just wondering if you planned to stop there or were forced. ^_^
