I have moved to Japan for 1 year with my husbands job. We have 2 kids and I want us all to have the best experience we can have while we are here. So, seeing mummy studying Japanese and trying to speak to people in the shop hopefully will stop being a source of amusement and embarrassment and will motivate the kids to try new things. Also, Japan is a fascinating place and I would like to understand as much about it in the time that we have here!

That’s really sweet that you’re doing this for your kids. Good luck with your studies!

Oh, that’s fantastic! Out of curiosity what are you doing for the kids schooling? Is there an English school available, or have you taken another option?

But, in any event…Congrats on taking the “Big” step. I think it is fantastic that you will be able to practice what you learn through everyday life experiences. Welcome!
