Greetings, Textfugu community. I’m Kumori. (^-^)/ I’ve been studying Japanese for just a year now, but I enjoy it a lot already, and I really hope someday I can consider myself fluent in it. It’s something of a personal goal of mine to be able to annoy my friends and family by talking to them in Japanese. Until recently though, my only resource for the language was Rosetta Stone (and Google XD) – but when I stumbled across Tofugu, it was instant love, and I’ve since been devouring the resources Koichi recommended. It was only a matter of time until I made my way here to Textfugu, haha, and I’m already finding it amazing. (Especially that Mr. Ando of the Woods video. XD) Hopefully Textfugu will only help my learning that much more. :3

Haha I don’t know how what else to say here honestly. I just wanted to make sure I actually got involved in the community – too many times I’ll join a website but completely ignore its forum, or else just become a quiet little stalker. x:

But so, yup, I love Japanese and think it’s a beautiful language. I also love Tofugu and Textfugu (and Koichi’s sense of humor XD), and I love emoticons and writing stories and the color blue. That’s me. Douzo yoroshiku. ^^

Haha, Kumoricon? Yeah, I’ve heard of it, though I haven’t attended or anything. ^^; Only ever been to one con in my life, honestly. And thank you!
