I don’t think this is up anywhere on textfugu, but I was wondering how to say “what” in the context of “What foods do you like?”. I’ve tried doing this before by saying 何の食べ物が好き？ and people seemed to understand what I was saying. I just wanted to check if this is right or if there is a more natural or informal way to say this?
どんな – what kind of
As in, どんな食べ物が好きですか
It’s the question-word form of こんな, そんな and あんな
