    Hey, I’m Matt and hopefully everyone sees this.  I’m extremely inept when it comes to using forums.  Ah, but what I am not inept in is being determined to learn Japanese.  Pretty much everything I enjoy has something to do with Japan, so it seems natural to learn the language.  My ultimate goal is to finish school, be an English teacher, and maybe, just maybe, live in Japan for a bit.  Well, that’s my story.  I have nothing but time, patience, and the urge to be bilingual.

    Well it started out with the kind of typical stuff like anime and manga. I just thought it would be cool to read and watch this stuff in it’s native language. Later I got into Japanese metal music and J-pop. Now I’m trying to get into the actual history and culture of Japan.
