    怒りが彼を化け物に変えた。

    Is this correct? Are there specific rules when using 変える, as to what the subject should be or something like that? In other words, should I rather write something like:

    彼は怒りで化け物に成った。

    … and maybe favor 変える for subjects that actually have the ability to physically change things, such as people and maybe machines, chemical components, magic spells, etc?

    No, that works fine.

    なる is usually written in kana, though. =)

    Right. I forgot about that.

    So, the second sentence is also correct? Because I wasn’t as confident about the use of で after a feeling/emotion as my phrasing might have lead to think I was.
