Deaf gal here, hoping to learn and master Japanese one of these days! I’m fascinated with Japan’s art history, and would love to visit Japan one of these days. I’ll have to learn JSL (Japanese Sign Language) as well, but I figure it can’t hurt to know both the written form and the signed form! :-)
Hi Elizabeth, welcome to TextFugu! You’ll have to report back to us about JSL, I’d be really interested to hear more about that. I have some exposure to ASL and it seemed pretty interesting.
