Hi Folks,
I am a returning Textfugu life member, I first started studying Japanese, for the first time, with Texfugu about 4 months before I took my first trip to Okinawa, mid last year. I am a Martial Artist and wanted to have a smattering of Japanese before I went. I know pretty much every Karate term in Japanese and knew a few other words too.Well all I can say is Texfugu works, I became the offical translator (a very bad one I might add).
What REALLY surprised me was at the karaoke bar I was able to read all the music, though I had no idea what is said.After a very crazy few months at work I am back studying, more determined than ever to get better.
