ARGGGG. Anki’s been driving me NUTS lately. It’s really slow on the android and now it won’t even sync all of my cards. I’ve tried to resync a billion times to my anki account but everytime I download or sync the deck using my phone it’s always missing ~20 cards!! I’ve tried readding the deck files onto the PC anki to double check if the cards are there but they already are, so nothing happens. And I’ve deleted/synced the deck on my phone a bunch of times and every time I get the same result, I’m still missing ~20 cards!!

NEVERMIND. I ended up downloading all the files and importing them to a whole new deck. It worked!

Not a big fan of anki myself, so on top of Anki I usually make flashcards that I can carry around with me but that’s just me :) let me know if you find any good alternatives to Anki

Speaking of Anki, why doesn’t it delete the associated media folder when I delete a deck?

I like Anki better than the previously used Smart.fm. This said, I infinitely prefer making real life flashcards that I can carry around, even if it takes multiple hours to make all the cards I need.

I’m making some cards today in fact. にゃあ~!

I made reverse duplicates of every single one of my Anki flashcards, and I should have done this earlier, so my Anki reviews have pretty much tripled in size. :P I’ve had to create new blank decks to continue my learning, because the reverse cards are filling up the ‘new card’ area. Anki can sometimes be hard to deal with. :/
