So yeah. Hi there! A 22 year old Norwegian here, I’ve been “learning” Japanese since I was in junior high, but it’s only recently that I’ve actually been serious about studying. In the beginning I wanted to learn Japanese so I could read manga and play Final Fantasy in Japanese, but now that I’m doing that I’m motivated by the wish to become super awesome and be able to have more complex conversation with Japanese people. I’ll be traveling with an organization called World Campus International this summer, which means I will be staying with host families, so I want to learn as much Japanese as possible before going! (which is only two weeks, but I’m determined I can learn a lot if I’m dedicated enough!)
